My roots, and passion, for theatre and drama stem from my formative years in school - every Friday heading to the 3rd floor to a sweaty, feet smelling drama studio, being pushed and inspired week in and week out. Since then my journey has taken me far and wide.
I trained at Dartington College of Arts, an incredible creative learning ground, graduating with a first class BA Honours degree in Theatre in 2009. After graduating I toured with the company I co-founded during my final year, Openbatch Theatre, taking shows across the UK and opening the festival for the 2009 European City of Culture in Vilnius in Lithuania.
I studied at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, this experience led me onto further training which I received from Complicite, Marcello Magni, Mick Barnfather, Jos Houben and Jon Davison.
My studies under Philippe Gaulier inspired me to create my own touring company, Autojeu Theatre, who's award winning work has been seen across Europe and was invited for an off-Broadway run.
Helping others find their own journeys has always been enjoyable for me. To better frame my practice and pedagogy I completed my MA in Actor Training and Coaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2015. More recently I completed my PCET/PGCE at the University of East London.
I am still playing, and having fun.
